Frustrated Joe Lauzon Awaiting New Opponent, Comments on Blog

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has once again been forced to track down a replacement for an injured fighter, as word has surfaced that Terry Etim can no longer fight Joe Lauzon as scheduled on August 4th due to an injury.
Although the nature of Etim’s injury hasn’t been disclosed, Lauzon will apparently remain on the upcoming UFC on FOX 4 card and will fight an opponent to be determined.
Lauzon, who is coming off a knockout loss to Anthony Pettis in February, commented on the situation via his blog:
“We spent a LOT of time breaking down tape, working VERY specific things for Terry Etim… for the second time. Terry and I were supposed to fight once before at UFC118 in Boston… but he broke his ribs in training and was forced to pull out. For whatever reason… Terry and I are just never going to fight. I wish him a speedy recovery and hope its nothing too serious.”
The UFC on FOX 4 card will be hosted by the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will feature a light-heavyweight bout between Brandon Vera and Mauricio Rua in the main event.
