The sixth card of the PFL’s 2023 season took place Friday in Atlanta, Georgia, and the card saw 2022 lightweight winner Olivier Aubin-Mercier record a vicious knockout.

Aubin-Mercier faced Anthony Romero in the main event, and he finished the fight with a kick/knee to the head in round three.

Initially, it looked like Shane Burgos had failed to advance to the playoffs, as he did not qualify with a decision win over Yamato Nishikawa. But, on Saturday, the PFL reportedly announced that Natan Schulte has been suspended, and will no longer compete in the playoffs. As a result, Burgos will advance.

Schulte initially qualified with a decision win over Raush Manfio. The PFL, however, has ruled that the fight did not meet the promotion’s contractual standards and the two have been suspended. Both men, who are reportedly close friends, offered little offense in the contest.
