It remains to be seen if Jan Blachowicz will fight for the UFC’s 205 title next. But the Polish contender made a compelling case for a title shot tonight at UFC Rio Rancho, by knocking out Corey Anderson.

Not too long into the card’s headliner, Blachowicz crumped Anderson to the floor with a huge right hand and then scored with a hammer fist from above. The fight was promptly stopped, handing Blachowicz his third straight win.

After the victory, Blachowicz called out champion Jon Jones, who was sitting Octagon side. The latter is coming off a controversial, decision win over Dominick Reyes last week at UFC 247.
