Bellator 243: Michael Chandler Quickly Takes Out Benson Henderson
By FCF Staff
Benson Henderson and Michael Chandler battled for five rounds the first time they fought in 2016. But, at Bellator 243 on Friday, Chandler quickly made sure that wouldn’t happen again.
The former lightweight champ dropped Henderson a couple of minutes into the card’s headliner with a booming left, and finished the fight with follow-up punches.
In their first meeting at Bellator 165, Chandler won the fight via split decision. Friday’s bout was the last on Chandler’s Bellator contract.
