Terence Crawford Outscores Canelo Alvarez to Take Super Middleweight Titles

Terence Crawford entrenched his legacy as one of the greatest boxers of this generation on Saturday, by working his way to a clear-cut decision win over Canelo Alvarez.
From the opening bell, Crawford bested Alvarez in many of the exchanges and was awarded the fight by scores of 115-113, 115-113, and 116-112.
With the win, the American became the undisputed super middleweight champion, which is the third weight class now that Crawford has been the undisputed champ. The Omaha fighter was also the undisputed champion at welterweight and super lightweight.
The 37-year-old Crawford now carries a record of 42-0. The 35-year-old Mexican star, Canelo, saw his record slip to 63-3-2.
The highly anticipated fight took place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and was streamed on Netflix. Watch the highlights.
