The UFC’s upcoming card in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, has taken a significant hit, as it’s being reported that Rafael Fiziev has been forced off the card.

The lightweight contender was booked to fight former champ, Charles Oliveira, in the October 11th card’s headliner. But, according to an initial report from Octagon Update, Fiziev has withdrawn due to injury.

MMA Junkie has also confirmed the change with a source. As this post is being authored, there is no news on a potential replacement opponent for Oliveirea.

The 32-year-old Fiziev (13-4) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Ignacio Bahamondes in June, after losing three straight to Mateusz Gamrot and Justin Gaethje (twice).
