Judging on their first two bouts, the odds were that Sam Stout and Spencer Fisher would engage in another memorable fight at last night’s UFC on FX 4 card, and in the end, the lightweights did just that.

Although their three round war featured more ground work than the previous two, Stout and Fisher picked up “Fight of the Night” awards and an additional $50,000 each for their efforts.

Stout won the bout via unanimous decision.

“Knockout of the Night” went to Cub Swanson for his second round stoppage of Ross Pearson. Swanson floored Pearson with a hard left hook, and then swept in for the finish, as referee Yves Lavigne jumped in to call the fight.

Dan Miller made the most of his welterweight debut, as the former middleweight received “Submission of the Night” and an extra 50 grand for his third round, guillotine choke finish of Ricardo Funch.

The UFC on FX 4 card was hosted by the Revel in Atlantic City.
