By FCF Staff
While it remains to be seen if and when Georges St-Pierre will return to the Octagon, the former welterweight champ will have to recover from another knee surgery first.
The 32 year-old star underwent surgery recently to repair a torn ACL, marking the second time the fighter has had to do so since 2011. Following the procedure, St-Pierre tweeted on Wednesday:
Just got out of the hospital- surgery was a success. Road to Recovery has started again. pic.twitter.com/QTAqF2ityx

Following St-Pierre’s split decision win over Johny Hendricks at UFC 167 last November, the Canadian announced he was taking a leave from fighting so that he can address some personal issues.
The Tristar fighter has also revealed that he’s unhappy with the current testing regime for performance enhancing drugs in MMA.
GSP vacated the title having won 12 straight bouts.
