Report: Brendan Schaub Considering Move to 205
By FCF Staff
After dropping consecutive bouts to heavyweight contenders Andrei Arlovski and Travis Browne, Brendan Schaub is reportedly considering a drop to light-heavyweight.
The 31 year-old is coming off a first round, stoppage loss to Browne in December, after he lost a tightly contested, split decision to Arlovski last June.
In the latest edition of FOX Sports 1’s “UFC Tonight”, it was reported that Schaub plans to cut his weight somewhat, as a means of assessing whether he could compete at light-heavyweight.
Prior to his recent defeats, Schaub scored back-to-back victories over Matt Mitrione and Lavar Johnson. Schaub has gone 2-3 in his last five contests.
