Bellator “Dynamite”: Zack Mwekassa to Face Saulo Cavalari For GLORY’s 205 Title
By FCF Staff
Bellator and GLORY’s “Dynamite” card has gained another championship fight, as the organizations have announced that Zack Mwekassa will battle Saulo Cavalari for GLORY’s vacant, light-heavyweight title.
The kickboxing organization recently stripped Gokhan Saki of the title, who hasn’t fought since April, 2014 and couldn’t come to terms with GLORY on a new deal.
Mwekassa (13-2, 12 KO) faced Cavalari (31-2, 19 KO) last November, and the latter won the bout via knockout.
“Dynamite” will be hosted by SAP Center in San Jose, California, on September 19th. In the main event, Bellator’s light-heavyweight champ Liam McGeary will face former UFC champ, Tito Ortiz.
The card will also include a four man, light-heavyweight tourney, which will feature Phil Davis, Emanuel Newton, Linton Vassell and Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal.
