Tyron Woodley has been campaigning for a shot at the UFC’s welterweight title for months, and it looks like he may finally get his wish.

UFC President Dana White was in attendance for RFA 37 last night in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, which was broadcast on AXS TV. According to a report from MMA Junkie.com, White relayed in an interview that Woodley is “likely” going to fight champion Robbie Lawler next.

White noted that the bout will probably take place at UFC 201 or 202. Dates for those events have yet to be confirmed. UFC 200, however, will take place on July 9th.

Woodley (15-3) hasn’t fought since January, 2015, when he earned a split decision win over Kelvin Gastelum. Last October, he was scheduled to fight former champ Johny Hendricks, but the latter withdrew as a result of weight cutting complications. UFC officials announced at the time that Woodley was being awarded a title shot.
