Michael Bisping Responds to Chris Weidman, After Latter Calls on New Champ to be a “Man of Your Word”
By FCF Staff
Chris Weidman wants to be the first man to face newly crowned, middleweight champ Michael Bisping, but the latter says he should have to face Luke Rockhold first.
Prior to his KO win over Rockhold at UFC 199, Bisping relayed he was interesting in fighting Weidman next, if he became middleweight champ. Recently Weidman called on Bisping to make good on that statement, and the two proceeded to trade shots via social media.
Weidman was originally scheduled to rematch Rockhold last weekend, but was forced to withdraw due to neck injury. Rockhold stopped Weidman in December to become middleweight champion.
@ChrisWeidmanUFC bum? your coming off a loss to the guy I just Knocked out cold. Fight rockhold, win and we'll see. I call the shots. #facts

Wait @bisping, so what you're basically saying is you're not a man of your word. Where's that integrity you always talk about?
