UFC 209 Fighter Payouts: Mark Hunt And Alistair Overeem Lead Way
By FCF Staff
The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the payout figures for Saturday’s UFC 209 card, and heavyweight vets Mark Hunt and Alistair Overeem led the way.
According to the numbers that were disclosed to the NSAC, by the UFC, both Hunt and Overeem were paid $750,000 for their fight. Neither fighter was in line to receive a win bonus for the bout, which saw Overeem KO Hunt in round three.
The figures also reflect that Khabib Nurmagomedov would have been paid $500,000 for his bout with Tony Ferguson. Nurmagomedov, however, was pulled from the card due to weight cutting issues. Ferguson was reportedly paid his show money, which totalled $250,000.
Here are the payout figures for the event, which took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The numbers do not include any pay-per-view dividends a fighter may have earned, or any additional funds they might have received.
