AFC 7 “Break Out”: Former Pro Football Player Medler Facing Grimshaw
By FCF Staff
British Columbia’s Armageddon Fighting Championship has announced the line-up for the promotion’s upcoming November 5th card, which will be hosted by Victoria’s Bear Mountain Arena.
“Break Out” will feature a bout between rising welterweights Derek Medler (6-0) and Brian Grimshaw (6-1) in the main event.
Medler has gone undefeated since the former Canadian Football League player transitioned into MMA in 2009. The ex-Toronto Argonaut is coming off a TKO stoppage of Jaret Evans at AFC 6 in June.
Grimshaw hasn’t competed since April, 2009, when he tapped out veteran Elmer Waterhen while competing for King of the Cage Canada.
