UFC 225 Weigh-In Results: Yoel Romero Misses Weight on Second Attempt

Weight cutting has once again impacted a UFC card, as Yoel Romero missed weight today in Chicago, Illinois, for a scheduled title fight with middleweight champ, Robert Whittaker.

The decorated wrestler came in at 186 pounds on his first attempt, and approximately two hours later, Romero weighed in at 185.2. Since championship fights do not allow a one pound allowance, Romero is ineligible to win the title, and it isn’t clear yet, whether the bout will proceed.

Rafael dos Anjos and Colby Covington made weight for their welterweight interim title fight, as each fighter was 169 pounds.

Here are the official weight-in results for UFC 225.
