Although Jose Aldo has lost three of his last four fights, the legendary fighter says he still intends to add another championship to his resume.

Aldo will battle Jeremy Stephens tonight in the co-main event of UFC on FOX 30, which will take place in Calgary, Alberta. The bout will mark the first time Aldo has competed since he dropped consecutive bouts to current featherweight champ, Max Holloway.

In a recent post at UFC.com, the 31 year-old Aldo was quoted saying the following, while discussing his recent setbacks and his hopes for the future.

“I don’t suffer from the past; it happened,” said Aldo. “I always train to win, but sometimes that doesn’t happen, there is always that possibility. I have accepted those losses and now I’m moving forward, training hard to win every time.”

“…I’m very excited. It’s work going back to the title and I know how important this fight is because the win will put me right back to fighting for the title.”

Aldo’s last win took place in July, 2016, when he defeated Frankie Edgar via unanimous decision.
