UFC 247: Dominick Reyes Knows if he Beats Jon Jones “It’s Not Going to be Enough”
By FCF Staff
Dominick Reyes is confident he’s going to shock the world at UFC 247 and defeat Jon Jones. But, the undefeated light-heavyweight understands that a rematch with the renowned champion would likely materialize.
Reyes (12-0) has been booked to fight Jones at the upcoming, February 8th event, after taking out Chris Weidman in October. Reyes recently spoke with MMA Fighting, and while discussing the possibility of facing Jones twice, he said this:
“Absolutely. I look forward to the rematch,” Reyes said, prior to the official announcement of the fight. “I’m already planning the rematch in Cowboy Stadium. That’s already in the works.”
“I already know what’s going to happen. I’m going to beat him, it’s not going to be enough. Perfect, let’s do it in Cowboy Stadium except this time it’s my pay-per-view.”
Jones (25-1) is coming off a tightly contested, split decision win over Thiago Santos in July.
UFC 247 will take place in Houston, Texas.
