Actor Idris Elba Wins Pro-Kickboxing Debut, Madonna Posts Video Footage

Actor Idris Elba, perhaps best known for his role on the critically acclaimed TV series “The Wire”, won his pro-kickboxing debut this weekend.
The 44 year-old actor, who has reportedly been training in kickboxing for years, competed on a card at the York Hall in London. According to reports, Elba won via first round stoppage.
The actor’s road to a pro-kickboxing bout will be the focus of three part, documentary, which is going to air on Discovery in 2017.
The superstar singer Madonna was on hand, and she posted the video clip below of the bout.
