After running through Sarah Kaufman last night, and recording her sixth straight win via armbar, Ronda Rousey wasted no time in calling out former Strikeforce featherweight champ Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos. During her post fight address, the charismatic Rousey declared that because she is the only one currently holding a title, it’s “Cyborg’s” responsibility to come down to bantamweight to set up the all-star bout.

Santos took to her official Twitter account to respond to Rousey, and relayed that she has no intention of moving down to 135 pounds.

Guys I have not changed my weight. I started where I am …

In addition, while speaking to Tatatame.com, Santos expressed concerns that Strikeforce is considering folding up the women’s featherweight division, which the former champ said would spell her withdrawal from the promotion.

Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker assured MMA Weekly, however, that the promotion has no such plans.

More recently, however, Santos retweeted the following comment from BJJ Black Belt and Shogun Fights promoter John Rallo:

stop talking sh-t and meet cyborg at 140.

Santos, who tested positive for Stanzolol metabolites following her bout with Hiroko Yamanaka last December, is currently serving a one year suspension from the California State Athletic Commission.
