The Canadian based MMA promotion Aggression Fighting Championship has announced that is has inked a broadcasting agreement with the Internet television network KoldCast TV. The provider, which is part of parent company KoldCast Entertainment Media, will stream Aggression FC fights online and through its set-top boxes for Smart TVs.

KoldCast Entertainment Media CEO David S. Samuels said in a press release from the promotion, “Our audience reach continues to expand in real time as we expand the number of platforms and devices we air on, and AFC programming will be introduced in each new venue. Additionally, mixed martial arts (MMA) is such an international phenomenon that we now expect to see increasing interest in AFC programming from around the world.”

“KoldCast has already opened so many amazing doors for us, it’s just incredible. To have one of the leading companies in entertainment be so excited for us and our product is refreshing. It’s finally paying off,” stated co-owner, Mr. Harvey Panesar.

“You will see new and exciting AFC shows in all of our territories, including Manitoba, Alberta and BC, as well as across the U.S. and in many international markets.  This is the shot in the arm we were looking for – one that really pushes us over the edge.  We have found the company that will launch us into the spotlight,” added Panesar.

Aggression FC was born out of merger of three Canadian promotions earlier this year, which included the Victoria based Armageddon Fighting Championship, Calgary’s AX Combat and Edmonton’s Aggression MMA.

The promotion held an event this past weekend in Winnipeg, Manitoba, which saw Joe Doerksen score a unanimous decision win over fellow UFC vet Kalib Starnes.
