AJ McKee’s Return set for Bellator 301

Plans are in place for AJ McKee to fight before the year is up, as recently Bellator announced the former featherweight champ will compete at the promotion’s November 17th card.

The 28-year-old McKee (20-1) hasn’t fought since last New Year’s Eve, when he defeated Roberto de Souza by unanimous decision at a Bellator versus Rizin event. Now, Bellator has announced that McKee will take on lightweight Sydney Outlaw (17-5) at Bellator 301.

McKee was scheduled to fight Patricky “Pitbull” Freire this past July, but had to withdraw due to a staph infection.

The 31-year-old Outlaw is coming off a unanimous decision win over Islam Mamedov in August.

Bellator 301 will be hosted by the Wintrust Arena in Chicago.
