Alexander Gustafsson

Alexander Gustafsson has been booked for his first fight of 2015, as the UFC’s announced he’ll take on Jan Blachowicz at the promotion’s September 3rd card in Hamburg, Germany.

The light-heavyweight contender hasn’t fought since last October, when Gustafsson (16-4) dropped a split decision to champion Daniel Cormier. Prior to that the Swedish star was stopped by Anthony Johnson. Gustafsson is 2-3 in his last 5 contests.

Blachowicz (19-5), meanwhile, fought this past April and worked his way to a decision win over Igor Pokrajac. The Polish fighter is 3-2 in his last 5 fights.

UFC FN 93 will feature a heavyweight fight between Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett in the main event.
