After coaching against one another on the latest season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’, ahead of their upcoming fight, it seems like tensions are rising between Alexander Volkanovski and Brian Ortega.

Volkanovski is scheduled to defend the featherweight title against Ortega at UFC 266, which will take place on September 25 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Recently the two appeared on ESPN. The fighters were fairly respectful towards one another to begin the segment, but warnings and insults were flying by the end of it.

At UFC 266, Volkanovski (22-1) will be competing for the first time since July, 2020, when he defeated former champ, Max Holloway, by split decision.

Ortega (15-1) last fought in October, and recorded a decision win over Chan Sung Jung.
