Alistair Overeem no Longer Fighting Rico Verhoeven at GLORY Collision 3

GLORY’s upcoming Collision 3 card has been dealt a serious blow, as legendary heavyweight Alistair Overeem has been forced off the card.
Overeem was scheduled to fight the kickboxing promotion’s heavyweight champ, Rico Verhoeven, at the October 23rd card. But, recently both GLORY and Overeem confirmed he has withdrawn from the bout, due to an injury.
The 41-year-old Overeem signed with GLORY earlier this year, following his stoppage loss to Alexander Volkov at February 6th, UFC card. Overem has not competed in a kickboxing bout since 2010.
