Anthony Pettis Reports Move to 145 is “in The Works”

After dropping three straights fights, former lightweight champ Anthony Pettis has decided to drop down to the featherweight division.

Pettis is coming off consecutive, decision defeats to current champ Rafael dos Anjos, Eddie Alvarez and most recently, Edson Barboza. Recently the dynamic striker posted the following pic and comment on Instagram.

MMA Fighting.com has also confirmed with the manager of Pettis, Malki Kawa, that the fighter is moving down to 145. Pettis reportedly hopes to fight in August.
