Aspen Ladd

The UFC has announced that undefeated, bantamweight prospect Aspen Ladd will face former champ Holly Holm next.

Recently the promotion confirmed that the fighters will fight at UFC 235, March 2nd in Las Vegas. The contest will be a three round fight.

Ladd (7-0) has recorded stoppage wins over Lina Lansberg and Tony Evinger since arriving in the UFC last year.

Holm (12-4) faced featherweight contender Megan Anderson in her last fight, this past June, and earned a decision win. The accomplished striker was coming off a loss to 145 champ Cris “Cyborg” before facing Anderson.

UFC 235 will be hosted by the T-Mobile Arena.

Update: Holm’s manager, Lenny Fresquez, has told MMA Fighting’s Marc Raimondi that the bout with Ladd is not in fact signed yet.
