After having not fought for three plus years, Tom Watson is returning to the cage under the BAMMA banner.

Recently the Britain based promotion announced that the 36 year-old middleweight has signed a deal with BAMMA, and that Watson’s next bout will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Watson was quoted saying in the official press release saying:

“I’m going to reclaim my spot at the top, no one is safe”

“Kong’s” last bout took place at UFC Fight Night 73 in April, 2015, when Watson lost via decision to Chris Camozzi.

The rugged, British fighter is 1-4 in his last 5 contests, and carries a record of 17-9.
