By FCF Staff

Heading into his April 13th bout with Cole Miller, Bart Palaszewski told Full Contact Fighter that he was certain it was a “must win” situation, and after being submitted by the featherweight the vet has announced he’s been cut by the UFC.

Palaszewski was tapped out by Miller with a first round, rear-naked-choke at the TUF 17 Finale, which followed unanimous decision losses to Diego Nunes and Hatsu Hioki.

The 29 year-old-vet announced his release via Twitter.

I have been let go by the @ufc. I would like to thank them & @seanshelby for all the opportunities and great times. We shall see whats next.

Prior to the defeats, Palaszewski scored a first round, KO win over Tyson Griffin at UFC 137 in 2011. The Poland native and now Illinois fighter also posted that he would like to fight for KSW, which is a promotion based in the European nation.

Palaszewski currently carries a record of 36-17.

Earlier in the week, UFC vets Pablo Garza and Antonio Carvalho were also let go by the promotion, after incurring recent losses.
