(Updated) Belal Muhammad Reports Eye Sustained “no Permanent Damage”, Following Scary End to Fight

Saturday’s headliner between Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad ended under frightening circumstances. But, thankfully it looks like Muhammad is going to be okay.
The main event for UFC Vegas 21 was declared a no -contest in round two, after Muhammad was accidentally poked in the right eye. Muhammad, whose eye was bloodied, was ruled ineligible to continue.
Following the fight, the welterweight shared out the image and statement below.

The 32-year-old Muhammad (18-3, 1 NC) had won four straight heading into Saturday’s card.
