Bellator 123: “Pitbull” Freire Avenges Previous Loss to Pat Curran

Bellator 123 went down in Uncasville, Connecticut tonight, not far from UFC FN 50, and saw Patricio “Pitbull” Freire take the featherweight title.

Freire avenged a 2013, split decision loss to Pat Curran, by working his way to a UD victory over the renowned fighter.

Bellator’s latest event also featured “King Mo” Lawal stopping Dustin Jacoby, and Cheick Kongo submitting fellow UFC vet Lavar Johnson.
