Bellator 129: Virgil Zwicker Stepping in for Injured James Thompson
By FCF Staff
The October 17th, Bellator 129 card has undergone a late change, as the promotion has announced that James Thompson is withdrawing due to an injury, and as a result, Virgil Zwicker will battle Houston Alexander.
The upcoming event will be hosted by Iowa’s Mid-America Center and the main card will be broadcast on SPIKE.
Zwicker (12-4) will be looking to rebound from a submission loss to Linton Vassell in July, while Alexander (16-10) is coming off a TKO win (due to doctor’s stoppage) over Matt Uhde in August.
