Ken Shamrock was outraged with how Friday’s bout with Royce Gracie ended, and now the legendary fighter has reportedly filed an official complaint with the Texas Commission.

Gracie was awarded the first round, stoppage win over Shamrock at Bellator 149, after he prompted the ref’s intervention with a flurry of punches. Moments prior, however, Shamrock appeared to take a knee to the groin.

According to a follow up report from MMA Junkie.com, Shamrock’s camp has sent out a press release, stating that the fighter has filed an official complaint. The statement argues that the fight was “stopped erroneously due to Ken Shamrock’s inability to fight back or protect himself after the illegal knee”.

Shamrock and Gracie were fighting for the third time, and as it stands right now, the latter is 2-0-1 in the series.
