Preliminary ratings for Bellator 170 indicated that the headliner between Chael Sonnen and Tito Ortiz drew 1.85 million viewers, and according to the latest figures, the fight had an audience in excess of 2 million.

Bellator’s broadcasting partner, Spike TV, sent out a press release on Thursday relaying that the last figures show that Ortiz – Sonnen drew 2.2 million viewers. 2 million people watched the co-main event between Paul Daley and Brennan Ward.

The card averaged 1.5 million viewers.

Ortiz submitted Sonnen in the main event, and Daley KO’d Ward with a vicious, flying knee.

Bellator 170 took place in Inglewood, California.
