Bellator’s 180 card, which preceded the pay-per-view “NYC” event on Saturday night, reportedly averaged over 900,000 viewers.

The lead-in card, which featured a bout between Ryan Bader and Phil Davis for the 205 championship, averaged 901,000 viewers for its simultaneous broadcast on Spike and CMT (numbers via MMA Fighting). Bader went on to win the light-heavyweight title via via split decision. That bout averaged 1.1 million viewers.

Now it will be interesting to see how many PPV buys “NYC” generated. The card featured Chael Sonnen taking on Wanderlei Silva and Fedor Emelianenko versus Matt Mitrione in the headliners.

Sonnen decisioned Silva in the main event, while Mitrione KO’d Emelianenko in the c0-headliner.

Bellator 180 and “NYC” were hosted by Madison Square Garden.
