As the betting line reflected, Michael Chandler had no difficulty getting past accomplished vet Akihiro Gono tonight in Rama, Ontario, as the Bellator Lightweight Champion needed less than one minute to win their non-title fight.

After dropping Gono to the floor with a right hand moments into their bout, Chandler promptly finished the fight off with a barrage of punches from above.

In the semifinal of Bellator’s ongoing welterweight tourney, Bryan Baker survived the slick submission game of Ben Saunder early on, and proceeded to outscore the UFC vet with strikes en route to a unanimous decision win.

The former middleweight, who was competing at 170 pounds for just the second time, will face the winner of the upcoming May 18th semifinal between Karl Amoussou and David Rickels.

Here are the results from tonight’s Bellator 67 card.

Michael Chandler def. Akihiro Gono by TKO (punches) R1 0:56
Bryan Baker def. Ben Saunders by unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27)
Ryan Ford def. Luis Santos by TKO (strikes) R2 (1:24)
Damian Grabowski def. Dave Huckaba by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Dom O’Grady def. Nathan Gunn by submission (armbar) R2 (4:51)
Nordine Taleb def. Matt McGrath by TKO (strikes) Rd 2 (2:30)
Cosmo Alexander def. Lowrant-T Nelson by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
