Bellator held the official weigh-ins today for its latest event Friday night, which will feature semifinal bouts in the promotion’s heavyweight and featherweight tournaments.

In the heavyweight semifinal, Richard Hale will take on Thiago Santos, while at featherweight Shahbulat Shamhalaev will take on Mike Richman.

The card will also feature former welterweight tourney winner Douglas Lima, who will take on Kobe Ortiz in a 180 pound, catch-weight fight.

The Bellator 79 card will be hosted by Orillia, Ontario’s Casino Rama facility and will be broadcast on MTV 2.
