Bellator has added one of Russia’s top lightweights to the promotion’s roster, as it’s being reported Alexander Shabliy has signed a multi-fight deal with the company.

The 27-year-old Shabiliy has gone 19-3 to date, while competing in organizations like Fight Nights Global, Pro FC and Absolute Championship Berkut. Shabliy has recorded finishes in 17 of his bouts, and holds wins over the likes of Adriano Martins, Ryan Quinn and Gleristone Santos.

Recently the fighter’s manager, Rizva Magomedov announced that Shabliy has signed a four-fight deal with Bellator. MMA Junkie has also confirmed the signing.

There’s no word yet on when the fighter will make his Bellator debut.
