Bellator Announces Fedor Emelianenko to Fight October 23 in Moscow

Bellator has announced that legendary heavyweight, Fedor Emelianenko, will return to the cage on October 23rd. “The Last Emperor” will headline an event that will take place in Moscow, Russia.
The 44-year-old Emelianenko (39-6, 1 NC) hasn’t competed since December, 2019, when he quickly finished “Rampage” Jackson. An opponent for Emelianenko has ye to be announced.
In a press release announcing the bout, Bellator President Scott Coker was quoted saying
“I have had the pleasure of working alongside Fedor for 12 years and nine of his fights during his time with Bellator and Strikeforce. It’s an honor to bring him home to compete in front of his fans who have followed his entire career. In addition to Fedor, we will showcase Bellator’s deep roster of Russian talent and put together a historic card for our first trip to Russia on Oct. 23.”
Emelianenko has gone 3-1, with 1 no-contest under the Bellator banner. The Russian star reportedly has two fights left on his Bellator contract.
