Bellator has announced that former middleweight champ, Gegard Mousasi, will return to the cage against Fabian Edwards in May.

Recently, the promotion announced that the middleweight fight will headline Bellator’s May 12th card in Paris, France.

Mousasi (49-8-2) is coming off a decision loss to Johnny Eblen last June, which ended his second reign as Bellator’s middleweight champ. The 37-year-old had won four straight prior to the loss.

Edwards (11-2), meanwhile, has won two straight and recorded a decision win over Charlie Ward in his last bout, which took place in October. The 29-year-old knocked out Lyoto Machida in his fight prior to that.

Bellator has also confirmed that Sidney Outlaw (16-5) will face Mansour Barnaoui (20-4) at the May 12th card, in a lightweight grand prix, quarterfinal match-up.

Here is the line-up to date for the upcoming event.
