Bellator Announces Line-up For July 24th Return
By FCF Staff
Bellator has announced the line-up for the promotion’s return, as Bellator 242 will take place on July 24th at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bellator hasn’t held a card since February.
In the main event, Sergio Pettis (19-5) and Ricky Bandejas (13-3) will battle in a title shot eliminator.
Pettis made his Bellator debut in January, and the UFC vet choked out Alfred Khashakyan in the first round. The Roufusport fighter has gone 3-2 in his last 5 bouts.
Bandejas, meanwhile, knocked out Frans Mlambo in February and he’s also 3-2 in his last 5 outings.
Here is the line-up to date for the upcoming event, which will take place without fans in attendance.
