Bellator has announced that heavyweight contender, Matt Mitrione, will battle Tyrell Fortune next.

The fight will be part of Bellator 262, which will take place on July 16.

Mitrione (13-8, 1 NC) hasn’t competed since August 2020, when he was stopped by Timothy Johnson. The UFC veteran is 1-3, with 1 no contest in his last 5 fights.

Fortune (10-1, 1 NC) fought Jack May in April and recorded a first-round, stoppage. The accomplished wrestler is undefeated in three straight fights.
