One of Bellator’s most promising featherweights likely isn’t heading to another promotion any time soon, as the organization has announced that it’s signed Emmanuel Sanchez to a contract extension.

According to a press release sent out by the promotion, the 25 year-old has signed a new multi-fight, multi-year deal. No terms were disclosed.

Sanchez (13-2) is riding a three fight winning streak and the Roufusport fighter has gone 6-1 in Bellator action to date. The only man who has defeated “El Matador” since 2013 is former featherweight champ, Pat Curran.

Sanchez isn’t currently booked for a bout.
