The second Bellator versus Rizin card has undergone a couple of significant changes, just days out from the event.

On Tuesday, Bellator announced that AJ McKee has withdrawn from his lightweight grand-prix bout with Patricky “Pitbull” Freire, due to medical issues. Rizin’s lightweight champ, Roberto “Satoshi” De Souza, has agreed to step in on short notice and fight Freire in the quarterfinal bout. The fight will be contested at 161 pounds.

In addition, Patricio “Pitbull” Freire has been added to the Rizin – Super Rizin 2 card, as Bellator’s featherweight champ will battle  Chihiro Suzuki in a 154-pound catchweight bout.

Here is the updated line-up for the event, which will take place at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan.

The Bellator x Rizin card will be broadcast on Showtime, July 29th, beginning at 11 pm ET / 8 pm PT. The Rizin portion of the event will be available via FITE TV.
