Melvin Guillard’s recent KO win over David Rickels has been overturned, as according to reports, the lightweight fighter failed an in-competition drug test, tied to Bellator 159.

Guillard has also been suspended for one year, as a result of the test results. The Kansas Athletic Commission didn’t disclose the substance Guillard tested positive for, but the organization has said it was not a performance enhancing drug.

The 33 year-old fighter had not won a bout since 2014 and was coming off three consecutive losses, prior to Bellator 159.
