The Ultimate Fighting Championship has added a heavyweight bout between established vet Ben Rothwell and rising star Travis Browne to the promotion’s upcoming UFC on FOX 4 card.

Although the date and venue for the event has not been confirmed, the card is expected to take place August 4th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Browne (13-0) is coming off an impressive first round, submission win via arm-triangle-choke over Chad Griggs at UFC 145. The victory extended the 6’7 tall, 29 year-old heavyweight’s Octagon record to 4-0-1, which includes wins over James McSweeney, Stefan Struve, and Rob Broughton.

Rothwell (32-8) also recorded a memorable win at UFC 145, as the 6’4 heavyweight knocked out Brendan Schaub in just over one minute. The victory returned Rothwell to the winner’s column after he lost by unanimous decision to Mark Hunt at UFC 135 in September.

The 30 year-old-veteran has gone 2-2 in the UFC to date.

Other bouts that have been confirmed for the UFC on FOX 4 card include Lyoto Machida vs. Ryan Bader and Hector Lombard vs. Brian Stann.
