With the UFC opting out of its previously scheduled event in Montreal, the heavyweight matchup between Ben Rothwell and Brendan Schaub has been moved to UFC 145.

Schaub today broke the news of the change and he’ll now face Rothwell on April 21 at Atlanta’s Philips Arena.

“Ok, now it’s official fighting Ben Rothwell @ufc 145 in Atlanta,” said Schaub. “Not Montreal..April 21st!”

Prior to being knocked out by Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira at UFC 134, Schaub had claimed victories in four consecutive fights.

Former IFL champion, Rothwell, will certainly be looking to erase the memory of his dreaded performance in losing to Mark Hunt at UFC 135.

UFC 145 will feature a standard five-fight pay-per-view main card with preliminary action slated for FX.

The event is headlined by a light heavyweight title defense with Jon Jones facing number-one contender and rival Rashad Evans.
