BJJ Star Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida to Make Pro-MMA Debut With ONE

Decorated and legendary grappler Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida is reportedly making a full-time move to professional MMA, and he’ll do so with ONE Championship.
The 30-year-old Almeida has won multiple world and ADCC championships and is widely regarded as one of the best grapplers ever.
The BJJ black belt’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, has informed MMA Fighting that Almedia has signed a multi-fight deal with ONE.
‘Buchecha’ is expected to compete in the heavyweight division and will likely make his MMA debut in late 2020 or early 2021.
