Following John Moraga’s submission win over Justin Scoggins last weekend, it hasn’t taken long for him to get called out, as Brad Pickett has relayed he wants to face the flyweight.

Just day’s removed from Moraga’s second round victory at UFC Fight Night 50 on Friday, Pickett tweeted:

“If you are looking for someone to trade with you in your hometown in December, I’m game. Think it would a great fight.”

Pickett is talking about UFC on FOX 13, which will take place December 13th in Phoenix, Arizona. Moraga trains out of the state’s renowned gyms, Arizona Combat Sports and the MMA Lab.

Prior to defeating Scoggins, Moraga (15-3) was stopped (due to a cut) by John Dodson at a UFC Fight Night card in June. The experienced wrestler and #5 ranked 125’er has gone 3-2 in his last 5 bouts.

Pickett (24-9) is looking to get back on track after he was decisioned by Ian McCall at a UFC FN card in July. The British fighter worked his way to a decision win over Neil Seery in March, after dropping down from bantamweight.

“One Punch” is currently positioned at #11 in the UFC’s flyweight rankings.
