It looks like Brendan Allen has locked up a fight with a top 15 ranked middleweight, as he’s reporting he will fight Brad Tavares next.

The 25-year-old Allen is coming off consecutive wins over Karl Roberson and Punahele Soriano, after incurring his only UFC loss to date against Sean Strickland.

Recently, Allen (17-4) announced via social media that the 33-year-old Tavares has agreed to fight him, December 4th.

MMA Junkie has also confirmed with a source that Allen – Tavares is booked.

Tavares (19-6) has recorded back-to-back victories, as he’s defeated Antônio Carlos Júnior and Omari Akhmedov in his last two outings. The middleweight, who is 3-2 in his last 5 fights, is currently ranked #13.

Allen is 4-1 in his last 5 outings.

The December 4th card is expected to take place at the Apex Facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
