Middleweight Bristol Marunde

A matchup between welterweights Bristol Marunde and Viscardi Andrade has been announced for August’s UFC 163 in Brazil.

The fight, originally announced by Globo, was confirmed by MMAJunkie.com earlier today.

The former The Ultimate Fighter season 16 contestant, Marunde (12-8), lost his debut match in the UFC succumbing to a third round knockout from Clint Hester. Prior to the defeat, he was on a 9-2 run with both losses coming by way of submission.

He will face off against the Brazilian born Andrade (13-5), a semifinalist on The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 2, who is looking to extend his current six fight win streak in his UFC debut.

The two will meet on August 3 at the HSBC arena in Rio Di Janeiro, Brazil.
